Tavèrnoles civic center

The project wants to solve the lack of space for public services in “Tavèrnoles”. For this reason, the building wants to be flexible to allow people to adapt it to their willing. The new building is close to the town hall, where you can get by a stairway. It is half buried with a public square above.

The building is composed by two volumes with a “patio” between them. This area allows people to see the church from below and introduces light inside the whole building. The roof has two parts: a green area and a paved one. This area allows people to make small shows.

The intersection of needs forms the cultural center.
